POLYRHYTHMICS

 This program’s repertoire is centered around the genres of Jazz, Funk, Soul, Disco, Rock, and Pop music. Students will explore the basic tenets of these genres and take their knowledge of music theory and performance skills to the next level. Students will be assigned with age-appropriate repertoire, develop improvisational skills, and expand their proficiency for reading music.

 This program provides students with a great opportunity to make new friends, further develop musical language, and strengthen performance skills. Students participating in this ensemble will have the opportunity to perform several times throughout the duration of the program.

11-14; subject to approval for younger ages
