Songwriter’s Circle - The Beatles Edition   This program is for intermediate to advanced musicians who are looking to take their songwriting skills to the next level. Each class involves a variety of activities designed to make participants better songwriters across any genre and give a heightened understanding of song form, melodic arc, rhythm, rhyme, lyricism, and harmony.  Through the length of this course, students will compose at least 1 original song while exploring varied writing techniques utilized by  The Beatles . As a prerequisite, students are expected to have a basic understanding of chord structure on at least one melodic instrument (piano/guitar/bass). Students participating in this program will have the opportunity to perform for a live audience at a showcase in June.

Band Program   In this program, students will collaborate as a band to write original compositions and perform their favorite songs in a fun, group environment. Through the direction of their coaches, students will learn and apply all the essential ingredients for being part of a successful band, including rehearsing proficiently with your bandmates and developing stage presence. Students participating in this program will have the opportunity to perform for a live audience at a showcase in June. This is a great opportunity to make musical friends, learn to collaborate, and take budding musical skills to the next level!     Bands are formed based on age, skill level, and instrumentation. Families can choose a preferred 2-hour time slot from the options below. These time slots are not guaranteed but we will do our best to accommodate.

Pre-K   The Music Depot Preschool is a music program for parents and their children ages 2 though 5 years old. Each class explores key elements of music in a fun, engaging way.  Half Note and Whole Note Classes introduces children to percussion, piano, and stringed instruments while developing cognitive skills alongside parents and new friends. The class provides guidance for families to determine which instrument to further explore in our Preschool Group Lessons or Private Lessons. Pre-K

*Perform movement activities to develop cognitive skills

*Use movement and dance as a form of self-expression


Jazz Ensemble   In this 10-week program students will explore the complex language of jazz as well as take music theory and performance to the next level. Students will learn at least 2 traditional jazz standards, develop improvisational skills, and expand their proficiency for reading music. This program provides students with a great opportunity to make new friends, prepare for an audition, and further develop jazz music skills. Students participating in this program will have the opportunity to perform for a live audience at a showcase in June.

Jazz Ensemble

In this 10-week program students will explore the complex language of jazz as well as take music theory and performance to the next level. Students will learn at least 2 traditional jazz standards, develop improvisational skills, and expand their proficiency for reading music. This program provides students with a great opportunity to make new friends, prepare for an audition, and further develop jazz music skills. Students participating in this program will have the opportunity to perform for a live audience at a showcase in June.




Adult Band   Have you always wanted to be part of your own band? Looking for a new hobby? Here is your chance! Our 10-week adult band program gives "big kids" a chance to display (or dust off) musical abilities. You will have the opportunity to learn to play your favorite songs in a band setting. Students participating in this program will have the opportunity to perform for a live audience at a showcase in June.     Families can choose a preferred 2-hour time slot from the options below. These time slots are not guaranteed but we will do our best to accommodate.       Session 2 - 12pm-2pm    Session 3 - 2pm-4pm

Group Lessons  - The group lesson program is designed for beginner students ages 5 and 6 to explore the fundamentals of either drums, piano or ukulele. These young musicians will learn how to read music, proper technique, and basic music theory. What an amazing way to get kids involved in something special and while simultaneously improving social skills! This is a great starting point for kids who want to get involved in our private lessons. Each class is 45 minutes long and is limited to 5 students.

Group Lessons- The group lesson program is designed for beginner students ages 5 and 6 to explore the fundamentals of either drums, piano or ukulele. These young musicians will learn how to read music, proper technique, and basic music theory. What an amazing way to get kids involved in something special and while simultaneously improving social skills! This is a great starting point for kids who want to get involved in our private lessons. Each class is 45 minutes long and is limited to 5 students.


Drumline  - The Music Depot is thrilled to announce the launch of our 2019 Drumline Program! Have you ever wanted to put your drumming skills to use in an actual drumline? Then this is the program for you! In this program students can expect to learn proper techniques in both playing and marching, rudiments, cadences and theory. Students will have the opportunity to march Snare Drum, Tenors, Bass Drum and Cymbals. Appearances in parades and other local events can also be expected. This program is great for any students preparing to audition for or move up in their local middle school or high school drumline.  Experience level: Intermediate-Advanced
