Do you have melodies stuck in your head or lyrics scribbled in your notebook? The Songwriting & Original Band Camp is designed to turn those ideas into fully realized songs. This immersive week moves beyond covers and dives deep into the creative process. Students will be placed into bands to collaborate, arrange, and perform original music from scratch. Guided by our professional songwriting instructors, you’ll learn that writing a hit is part inspiration, part collaboration, and total fun! 

The week will culminate with a live performance on Friday at 2 pm.

Jazz Improvisation

Date: June 29th - July 3rd

This week is designed for musicians who want to move beyond reading notes on a page and start "speaking" through their instrument. Whether you are a rocker looking to expand your chord vocabulary or a school band student wanting to master your first solo or develop grooves, this camp will give you the keys to the kingdom of improv. 

The week will culminate with a live performance on Friday at 2 pm.

90's Alternative and Grunge

Date: July 6th - 10th

Time: 9 am - 3 pm

Level: Ideal for kids 7-17 years of age who have at least one year of experience with their instrument.

From Flannel to Fusion: The Decade That Defined a Generation!

Dust off your combat boots and break out the flannel! The 90s Alternative & Grunge camp is a deep dive into the decade that moved rock music from stadiums back to the garage. This high-energy week explores the raw, distorted sounds of Seattle’s Nirvana and Pearl Jam, the melodic pop-rock of Weezer and No Doubt, and the high-octane punk of Green Day. Whether you love the "soft-loud" dynamics of grunge or the catchy hooks of 90s alternative, this camp is about playing with heart, grit, and power. 

The week will culminate with a live performance on Friday at 2 pm.

New Wave Revolution

Date:  July 13th - 17th

Step into a world of neon lights, skinny ties, and the iconic sounds of the late 70s and early MTV era. The New Wave Revolution camp is a high-energy, immersive week designed for musicians who want to explore the intersection of rock, pop, and electronic music. From the jagged guitar riffs of The Police to the synth-heavy hooks of Duran Duran and the "art-rock" grooves of Talking Heads, students will learn what made this era the ultimate bridge to modern pop.

The Solo Artist & Songwriting

The Solo Artist & Songwriter Spotlight camp is an intensive, creative week dedicated to the art of the individual performer. This camp moves beyond the "band" setting to focus on your unique sound, your lyrics, and your performance style. Whether you write on guitar or piano, our professional mentors will help you refine your craft and build the confidence to command the stage alone.

The week will culminate with a live performance on Friday at 2 pm.

PUNK ROCK

Date:  July 20th - 24th

Fast, Loud, and DIY: Three Chords and the Truth!

Ready to crank the volume to eleven? The Punk Rock Camp is a high-octane week dedicated to the genre that broke all the rules. From the basement-born sounds of the Ramones and The Clash to the stadium-sized anthems of Green Day and Blink-182, students will explore the raw energy and "Do It Yourself" (DIY) ethos that defined a movement. This camp isn't just about playing fast—it's about finding your voice, playing with attitude, and learning the power of a great hook. 

The week will culminate with a live performance on Friday at 2 pm. 

FUNdamentals of Rock: My 1st Band Camp

This camp is a high-energy, play-based introduction to music designed specifically for 5–7 year olds. We swap the boring scales for fun games, colorful instruments, and the excitement of playing in a real band. No experience is required—just a love for music and a lot of energy!

Drum Line Camp

In the Level Up! camp, students will go behind the screen to explore the expansive world of video game music (VGM). This camp is designed for musicians who want to combine their love for gaming with their passion for performance and composition. We will dive into the history of video game music, discover how the technology affected musical composition, and learn about the emergence and widespread growth of video game music as a diverse genre. 

The week will culminate with a live performance on Friday at 2 pm.   

Icons of Pop

Date: August 17th-21st

Time: 9am - 3pm

Learn songs by famous pop music icons!

Since the early days of Rock & Roll, pop icons were always at the forefront inspiring generations of fans. From contemporary artists like Taylor Swift, P!Nk, Beyonce, Bruno Mars, and Justin Timberlake to the icons of the past like Aretha Franklin, Madonna, Prince, and Michael Jackson their iconic ballads and dance anthems made generations sing and dance. This camp will pay tribute to these all-time iconic pop artists. To supplement this musical experience kids will learn about the history and performance art unique to these all-time performers.
