ROCK, RHYTHM & MOVES is music program for children ages 2 - 5. Each class explores key elements of music in a fun & engaging way!
ROCK, RHYTHM & MOVES
ROCK, RHYTHM, & MOVES with Mr. Mike is a music program for children ages 2 through 5 years old. The 30 minute classes are divided into two age groups:
Half Note Classes - 2-3 years of age
Whole Note Classes - 4-5 years of age.
Every two weeks kids will focus on a different instrument including but not limited to percussion, drums, stringed instruments, xylophone, and piano. Children can expect to be musically active while developing cognitive skills alongside parents and new friends. The classes also provide guidance for families to determine which instrument to further explore in our Preschool Group Lessons or Private Lessons.
Half Note Classes
Ages 2 - 3
Wednesdays: 4:30pm- 5pm

Class size limited to 8 kids
$265 for first child / $250 for second child
- Learn songs that focus on rhythm (beats and tempo), melody,
and dynamics
- Sing age-appropriate songs and learn finger plays
- Perform movement activities to develop cognitive skills
- Play child-size versions of various musical instruments
- Use dance as a form of self-expression
- Preschool Prodigies curriculum for bell activities and songs- we recommend families to use the following link to purchase desk bells for practicing at home.
Whole Note Classes
Ages 4 - 5
Wednesdays 5:15pm - 5:45pm (LEVEL I 1st TIMERS)

The group lesson program is designed for beginner students ages 5 and 6 to explore the fundamentals of drums, ukulele, or piano. These young musicians will learn how to read music, proper technique, and basic music theory. What an amazing way to get kids involved in something special and while simultaneously improving social skills! This is a great starting point for kids who want to get involved in our private lessons. Each class is 45 minutes long. Each group class requires a minimum of 3 students.
